    Deposits and traditional investments such as real estate and jewelry are already a thing of the past.  With technology and globalization, investment vehicles have widened and have become more convenient for many investors.  This course is about creating a diversified portfolio of financial securities to be able to meet the investment objectives of an institution or individual.

    The first part of the course discusses the different types of financial securities where institutions or corporations can invest.  This will also include valuation and analysis to be able to identify a potentially good investment.

    The second part covers crafting an investment portfolio based on objectives and risk profile.  This requires creating a diversified pool of assets to create a balance between the level of risk and potential return of investments.
