Layout and composition are the building blocks of graphic design. A strong composition will attract attention, clarify understanding, and engage the viewer whether the project is a print- or screen-based project, a still or motion graphic, a 3D or 2D graphic. This course explains the elements, principles, and tools you will need to create a successful composition and layout.
The course will also focus on creating a system in creating designs that will be approved by your boss/ client and communicate effectively to the target audience.
At the end of the program, participants should be able to:
Develop a system in creating designs (from conceptualization to presentation) to become more creative, productive and efficient
Enhance skills on layout and composition (shape, line, color, texture, type, space, balance, proportions, grid, element of surprise, etc)
Apply principles of Design Thinking for effective composition

F. Test (sharing your artwork and get feedback)
