Why join the workshop?
It has been said many times that content is king, but with so many messages being thrown at us on a daily basis, many important details inevitably get drowned out. We are a very visual society, and marketers today realize that photography, without the usual language and information barriers of plain text communication, is the perfect way to send a message across. Hence, learning the basics of photography is vital.
People and businesses that are able to wield the visual language by using effective techniques, are able to reach audiences that grasp—and retain—important messages faster. With the relatively inexpensive availability of high-quality smartphones and cameras nowadays, everyone can be a photographer, but not everyone is a visual storyteller.
Effective visual communication may be better and more effective than a full page of text, but people always look for the “why” of the story, and not just the visible elements. More than just delighting your senses, photographs can also be a powerful medium to make your audiences think, ponder and even take action.
“Mr. Zamora is highly effective as he is able to discuss the art and science of photography to a diverse audience (in terms of level of experience). He definitely has a know-how/mastery of the craft. The class is also interactive as the resource person tries to get to know the students personally. Overall, it’s a great workshop!” - Carmie Carpio, Communications Coordinator of Children International, Inc.
“I have no doubt that the resource person is a very good photographer. I am now more inspired to pursue my passion in photography!” - Gem Silveria, Corporate Communications Assistant of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan
