Why join the virtual workshop?
The newsletter is an important part of an organization. It connects the employees or members, building a family through information and images. Organizations need to ensure that their newsletters are true exemplars of their values and are expressions of their excellence in execution, regardless of the nature of their business/ club/ association/ city. They must never be afterthoughts or, worse, the result of “just going through the motions”.
This is why many companies outsource their newsletters to public relations agencies. But this doesn’t have to be the case. You can keep it in-house, make it organic and truly represent your organization.
Newsletters must be unique, updated, and informative. They should be attractive and, most of all, synonymous with the company they represent.
The course is useful whether you are trying to improve existing newsletters or starting one. The course will be helpful whether your organization is creating printed newsletters or those distributed online.
At the end of this highly-interactive workshop, participants will be able to:
- Appreciate and understand the benefits of a well-planned and well-written newsletter
- Gain the skills and confidence you need to plan and write a newsletter that will make your employees/ customers/ volunteers/ constituents more engaged
Methodology
- The program will be live/synchronous. The resource person will be speaking in real-time (not recorded) to the participants discussing topics, facilitating activities for engagement, and answering questions for clarity. Each session will have a break every 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- The program will also have an output as proof of learning.
