WRITING CORRECTLY: Guide to Grammar and Etiquette for Emails and Messaging Apps

Why join this face-to-face workshop?

This course is designed to help office workers and front-liners improve their written communication skills. Participants will learn to identify and correct common grammar mistakes, apply important grammar rules, and understand common writing etiquette.

It will help them be more confident and show professionalism in writing emails and responding to colleagues and customers in messaging apps.

Improved writing skills will contribute to a clearer and more effective messaging.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common grammar mistakes office workers or front liners make when drafting an email, message, or any document
  • Understand important grammar rules to be able to create emails and messages that are clear and correct
  • Understand and apply common writing etiquette
  • Evaluate your writing and identify what needs to be improved
 

Methodology

  • The program will be live/synchronous. The resource person will be speaking in real-time (not recorded) to the participants discussing topics, facilitating activities for engagement, and answering questions for clarity. Each session will have breaks every 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • The program will also have an output as proof of learning. 
  • Class size will be limited to a maximum of 25 participants so concerns of each participant can easily be addressed.
