In order to significantly boost youth development, the INQUIRER Academy (INQA) has partnered with the non-profit organization Right Start to provide leadership and communication training for their scholars. The collaboration, aimed at equipping young people with essential skills for personal growth, included three learning sessions held at the Right Start Headquarters in Quezon City.
The modules for the year focused on core competencies vital for young leaders.
The firstl session, titled “Serve to Lead: Serving by Being, Leading by Doing,” was held last April 6, 2025. It challenged scholars to delve into what it means to lead with purpose and serve with integrity. Participants explored the foundational link between personal character and effective leadership.
This was closely followed by the second session on May 4, 2025, “Speaking Confidently with Clarity.” This workshop provided practical instruction on how scholars can express themselves effectively and authentically, honing a crucial skill for advocacy and interaction within their communities.
After months of giving them opportunities to apply their learning, the scholars attended a session on “Self Discipline and Effective Time Management for Students” last September 2025.
Right Start’s scholars, the beneficiaries of this partnership, are now better equipped with the tools necessary to thrive as young leaders in their respective communities. The sessions were designed to instill a greater sense of confidence and an understanding of purpose-driven service.
Both organizations are looking forward to more meaningful collaborations that continue to invest in the potential of young Filipinos.
